Land of Enchantment Akita Club, Inc.

New Mexico’s Akita fanciers founded the LAND OF ENCHANTMENT AKITA CLUB, INC. (LOEAC) in 1985. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the Akita breed. The LOEAC is a member of the Akita Club of America, Inc., the national breed organization.

The club actively participates in the local canine community. LOEAC sponsors fun matches and Akita championship shows. The club members enjoy the annual Christmas party and occasionally a summer picnic.

Quarterly meetings are held where club business is completed and various topics concerning the breed are discussed. Members of the club enjoy the comradery during the meetings and special events.
